Walk-A-Ton (2009)

Wat can I say???It was the day where the two of us,Me and Ketam, should have been sleeping comfortably in our bed just like the rest of the group but unfortunately, we both had to get up early in the morning to go for the Pandu Puteri Walk-A-Ton.I got up at 7 while Ketam got up at 7.15 in the morning.I got ready and ate my breakfast, which is oats! while Ketam only had some biscuits for her breakfast. By the time I left the house, it was already 8 and I reached at around 8.30 at the same time with Ketam.As for Ketam's story, she left her home late so she had to cycle fast to catch a bus from school.Unfortunately , when she reached school , no body was there , so she had to cycle back again and had to ask her dad to drop her.She told me while we were lining up.Both of met us each other out side the wisma Pandu Puteri.

We then lined up and gave our attends to our respective P.L ( Patrol Leader ).A speech was given by a person which I don't even know the name because it was too noisy over there.After the speech, prize's were given to the top 3 highest collection of money.The grand prize was a Lap top.I did not collect any money because they did not give any card and same goes with Ketam.Any way, after that , the Walk-A-Ton was launched.We turned to our right after the gate.Before that , we were told to take 3 pictures of us in 3 land marks , 6 pictures of animal and plants/trees.Coming back to the story, our first land mark was just opposite the wisma but we decided to take later when we came back.So Ketam and I started walking , and our first picture we took was a coconut tree and followed by the papaya tree.After a few meters of walking, we turned again to our right and then again turned to our left towards the main road.Our next picture we took was a butterfly.It looked nice and we got a clear shot of it.Walking a bit more further ,we came to our 2nd land mark , MBS.We tried to take our picture , but the battery went death and also a teacher started shouting at us , telling us not to take pictures.I was so angry at that time!!!! '_' But we managed to take pictures of our self by browning Jo camera's.We then walked towards a junction the turned to York road.Along the way , we took pictures of dog , cat ( so cute ) , some plants , and the last land mark which is Union school.By that time , Ketam and I were sweating after nearly walking about 1 kilometer.Right after the Union school,there was a T junction.From there we turned to our left to walk back to Wisma Pandu Puteri which was only a few meters away.Once we reached back , Ketam and I took our picture for the 1st land mark.
After that , as we walked in , they gave us Kit Kat chocolate to eat and a bottle of mineral to drink.I decided not to take the mineral water because I had already brought along my own water bottle but I took the the Kit Kat!Who would want to miss eating Kit Kat for free!!!! :P

All those who had attended the walk , gathered in the Wisma Hall.A person gave a closing speech but I and Ketam were toooooooooooooooooo bzy with eating our Kit Kat! hehe (devil laugh) Then , they asked us to get up and sing along with them the Girl Guide good bye song!

By 10.30 , we were already out of there! OMG I felt much more cooler out side! Ketam and I took the bus back to the school.Ruth went back with her dad after she called her dad.I had to take a bus and walk in , AGAIN! and guess wat! while taking picture with one my friend,I had missed the bus! I had to wait for another half an hour before it came!!! Stupid me !!! :(

Goalies are well... in the dictionary means goalkeeper but that is not really what we are .... we don't really like football anyway. What it really means to us is that we go after our goals without anyone stopping us or blocking our way.
